Since Teamfight Tactics Season 7 was officially launched alongside the gaming community, many compositions have been explored, researched, and used effectively by players. However, most compositions rely on the Dragon God – a new unit type that is powerful but quite difficult to maximize its potential, and can easily consume slots on the board.
Besides that, there are still quite a few compositions that purely use regular units and achieve amazing results. One of them is the “Destructive Knight’s Ride” Olaf composition – a strategy that is fairly easy to apply, does not require too much effort to operate but is extremely effective.
Overview and Operation
This is a situational composition, so it can be considered quite dependent on factors such as items and Technology Cores. For this composition, there are 2 essential Technology Cores. The first is the core that provides the Knight emblem for Shen. The next is the Destructive Ride core – a core that is almost characteristic of the Knight trait. Additionally, this composition has strong health defense but can easily lack damage towards the end of the game. Therefore, players also need to equip Olaf, Diana with enough damage items as well as the ability to reduce opponents’ healing.
In the early game, it won’t be difficult for players to obtain Lillia – the 2-cost Knight champion who has quite stable strength. Additionally, players need to combine with some champions that can deal damage to get through this phase. Moreover, obtaining Olaf or Diana early will be a significant advantage, helping players to quickly shape the complete framework towards the end of the match.
Moving into the mid-game, players will need to have at least 2 Olaf 2-star and 2 Diana 2-star to ensure power thresholds in the late game. Additionally, the right items for these two champions and other Knight champions are also crucial. If you have the Knight emblem, equipping it for Shen as soon as possible is essential to ensure this champion will receive the trait buffs early, becoming a quality shield before entering the critical phase.
By the late game, this will be the time for players to establish a complete composition. At the same time, important units like Olaf will need to reach at least 3 stars. Additionally, other key names in the composition such as Hecarim or Nunu also need to have suitable items to maximize their effectiveness (Demonic Embrace, Sunfire Cape, Gunblade…).

Strengths and Weaknesses
This is a relatively easy-to-use composition, with good health defense from the early game and also ensures both magic and physical damage. However, the weakness of this composition is its heavy reliance on the Technology Core. Therefore, players should only apply it when getting desirable cores and champions. It is essential to absolutely avoid trying to force the strategy and then getting stuck in critical phases.
