Question: As a Support player, do you feel happy seeing your teammates continuously getting kills?
WBG On: Honestly, the whole team played extremely well today. We understood each other and played more cohesively as a unit compared to the summer split. Perhaps this is why the entire team is performing so well. It’s great to see my teammates able to share the kills evenly and everyone is strong like that.
Indeed, looking back at WBG’s spring split, we can see that this team did not really exhibit cohesion, especially in TheShy’s position. This is understandable since TheShy is new and also a Korean player, so it would be difficult for him to integrate immediately with the other four members of WBG. That’s why we often saw TheShy making rather unreasonable solo plays in the spring tournament.
However, everything has changed significantly as the LPL entered the summer split, with WBG establishing a better strategic system that operates much more smoothly. Of course, the opponent WBG faced recently was still relatively weak and did not allow this team to showcase its true strength.
