News has emerged that the infamous anti-fan group in LCK will negotiate with T1 management.
As we know, in recent days, the most extreme anti-fan group in LCK, T1Gall, has escalated their hostility. Specifically, this group publicly called for donations and has actually raised tens of millions of won to organize what could be the largest protest against players in LCK history, targeting T1 management and Gumayusi. Recently, even more surprising, this group announced that they have negotiated with T1 management for a face-to-face meeting.

Furthermore, on the post of the person believed to be the “ringleader” of this protest, the T1Gall group even pressured T1’s leadership and threatened to cancel the meeting and continue their attacks on T1 if any of their demands were unmet. It can be said that even in K-pop, no anti-fan group has been as aggressive and unreasonable as T1Gall, leaving the League of Legends community uncomfortable.

On various forums, no one understands why T1 management sent an email proposing a meeting with this anti-fan group instead of pursuing legal action for attacking players, as most organizations in Esports have done in the past. Notably, one fan sarcastically remarked: “They quickly responded to the anti-fan group’s email while remaining silent on the petitions or complaints from T1 fans.”

A Dark Future Awaits T1
With the “inconsistent” behavior of T1 management lately, especially under CEO Joe Marsh and the team’s coaching staff, there is a high chance that after this season, T1 will face significant changes, not only in player positions but possibly in the upper management as well. Historically, T1 has undergone upper management restructuring, and in fact, CEO Joe Marsh only started his role in 2019 – the time when T1 officially parted ways with the “SKT” prefix in its name.

According to many opinions, the biggest success of Joe Marsh has been to establish a close relationship with Faker, ensuring T1 remains profitable when investing in Esports. However, the CEO has also left behind considerable controversy, and it seems that both he and T1 are heading in the wrong direction. Despite this, T1 has yet to respond to fans regarding the aforementioned announcements from T1Gall.
