DOTA 2 Legend Faces a “Bitter Blow” After Returning to League of Legends
Not long ago, a rather interesting image related to Dendi – the legend of DOTA 2 – delighted many fans. Specifically, he failed a challenge set with his audience and was forced to (temporarily) uninstall DOTA 2 and download League of Legends again. Previously, when the game first launched, Dendi had the chance to experience it and even climbed to the Challenger rank. And when fans saw Dendi returning to Riot’s game, many even mentioned Faker, hoping that one day these two legends of Esports would clash in rank.

However, before Dendi could even face off against Faker or interact with him, the former Natus Vincere star faced a “bitter blow”. Recently, Dendi’s account was banned for 12 hours. The reason, as many viewers watching his stream reported, was that the DOTA 2 legend entered a match but went AFK and didn’t pick or ban anything. So he was immediately “dealt with” by Riot.

Perhaps the DOTA 2 legend didn’t think League of Legends would be so strict nowadays
Along with the playful teasing from the community, many League of Legends viewers are also disheartened by Riot being “strict in the wrong places and lenient at the wrong times”. Specifically, there are numerous instances of game disruption or toxicity that go unaddressed by Riot. Meanwhile, accounts can be punished almost immediately just for not executing actions in time when queuing for a match.

As for Dendi, he probably didn’t think League of Legends had such strict rules now, especially since the last time he experienced Riot’s game was back in… 2011. But perhaps Dendi will only “stroll” through League of Legends before returning to his specialty game. Because right now, playing League of Legends, aside from having fun, offers almost no benefits for the first TI champion in Esports history.
