Perhaps before the 2022 World Championship (Worlds) began, not many believed that DRX could get this far. Essentially, DRX entered the 2022 Worlds as the 4th seed from LCK and had to play from the Play-In Stage. Thus, the biggest expectation for DRX was merely to get past the Group Stage.

However, DRX completely transformed after the Group Stage ended and played remarkably well. The biggest highlight of this miraculous journey for DRX has been Zeka, as the young player performed exceptionally and carried the team to the finals.

In the upcoming finals, Zeka will face off directly against the greatest player in League of Legends history – Faker. In a post-match interview, Zeka expressed immense respect for Faker but also affirmed that he is not afraid of the “Demon King” in the upcoming match.

“The upcoming finals will not be easy for us because T1 is playing very well and they have Faker too. However, as long as we maintain the spirit we had today, we can take down T1,” Zeka shared after defeating Gen.G.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the upcoming 2022 Worlds finals will be the most important match of DRX’s career. They have overcome many powerful opponents and are left with just one final boss named T1. Hopefully, DRX can create a historic achievement in the upcoming finals.
