In the final match of the World Championship 2022, T1 faced off against DRX. Although they had to travel a long journey starting from the Play-In Stage, DRX played exceptionally well. Thus, the battle for the championship title against T1 was certainly not going to be easy.

In fact, the match was incredibly thrilling. Both teams delivered their best performances, complete with mistakes as well. In the end, after months of waiting, Deft and DRX crowned themselves champions. This victory by the “Blue Dragon” also marked the conclusion of a perfect season of World Championship 2022 for the League of Legends community.

Witnessing the performance of both teams, even the most critical fans were convinced. Of course, credit must be given to the champions. DRX has made the most spectacular Miracle Run in League of Legends history. Prior to the “Blue Dragon”, no team had ever won the World Championship after coming from the Play-In Stage.
– Last year, they even finished at the bottom of the table with a very poor record. This year, they were just one game away from missing the World Championship. Even Cinderella could not have a story like this. I am sad that Faker lost, but Deft deserves it as he has waited 10 years for this championship. Well, let’s have that Kindred World Championship skin.
– I truly cannot imagine all the pressure these players had to endure and they still maintained their composure. The match was fantastic, and I think everyone deserves the title of champion.
– I never imagined DRX would become champions coming from the regional qualifiers to the Play-In Stage. Pyosik even started as a substitute, and then there’s Zeka too.
– What an amazing match!!!

This is also the first World Championship title in Deft’s career. With this title, Deft has completed the collection of accolades that a League of Legends player can achieve. Notably, he succeeded even after moving to the LPL to compete.
Additionally, there is a sense of regret for T1, especially for Faker. Thus, once again, the World Championship title eludes the legend of League of Legends. However, many pointed out that the failure to ban Azir and Aatrox contributed to T1’s defeat.

– Why didn’t they ban Azir and Aatrox after being completely destroyed by them earlier? I truly don’t understand.
– Sad that Faker lost but happy that Deft won. But honestly, I hoped Faker would win this title before he retires.
– Faker didn’t have much impact in this match.
– Faker tried, but compared to the whole team, he really felt invisible.
Thus, another World Championship has concluded, and DRX has convincingly claimed the throne. This victory may also be a perfect closing chapter to Deft’s tumultuous career. As for Faker and T1, they will need to strive harder next year, but they can hold their heads high knowing they only lost to an outstanding opponent.
