A few days ago, T1 became the first team to reach the LCK Spring 2023 finals as well as the upcoming MSI 2023 to be held in London, England. This marks the fourth consecutive time, since Summer 2021, that T1 has reached the domestic final. However, until now, they have only secured one championship in Spring 2022.

Of course, most fans are still excited about the team’s achievements. It should be noted that this Spring, many strong teams like Dplus KIA (DK) and Gen.G have made significant roster changes. Among these, DK was once considered capable of dethroning both T1 and Gen.G after a long period of decline. However, both DK and Gen.G failed to make an impact. Notably, in the group stage, both teams were unable to secure victories against T1 in both the first and second rounds.

Although T1 has performed very well and achieved their initial goals set for Spring 2023, Faker remains completely calm, if not indifferent. Specifically, in a recent interview, the legendary Mid Laner stated: “Reaching the finals is just a given. The most important goal remains the championship. Of course, I am a bit surprised that T1 has reached the finals four times in a row. But nothing is more important than the championship. That is T1’s goal, especially since we finished second too many times last year.”

Indeed, every record or achievement in reaching the finals becomes meaningless if T1 cannot secure the most important victory each season. Faker has been on the brink of glory, so for him, nothing is more important than T1 claiming victory in every tournament they participate in. Among these, the first goal is the championship of the LCK Spring 2023, which will be determined on April 9th (Vietnam time).
