The Summoner’s Rift map is probably no stranger to League of Legends (LoL) players. This is where battles take place, ranging from low-level matches to professional tournaments. For long-time players, the Summoner’s Rift map is almost a part of their childhood.

As familiar as it may seem, recently, the community has been quite astonished by a ‘hyper-realistic’ version of the LoL map. Specifically, a gamer with the Reddit handle u/Snoo has attempted to recreate the game’s map using Unreal Engine 5. The final product is a LoL map so detailed that every branch and blade of grass appears vividly.

Alongside expressing admiration for the creator of this product, the community also mentioned Riot in this post. The reason is that the way u/Snoo executed the product closely resembles the trailer for the 2023 season by Riot Games. In fact, many even joked that Riot should just take this player’s product to make the trailer for the upcoming 2024 season.
At the beginning of the 2023 season, Riot Games sparked outrage in the community with a trailer that was too simplistic. In this trailer, there were no notable characters or storylines. This is in stark contrast to the trailers for previous seasons.

Putting aside past controversies, we need to commend u/Snoo for the amazing product mentioned above. This video shows just how beautiful the game’s map can be when crafted with the most modern game development technologies.
