Keria is Closing in on a Record Held by Faker
In the history of League of Legends up to now, the player with the most records in the tournaments he has participated in is undoubtedly Faker. He is also the player who has attended the most professional League of Legends tournaments since his debut in 2013. There are some records held by Faker that are unlikely to be broken, such as the player with the most World Championship titles or the player who has defended this title the most times. However, in another statistic, specifically the number of kill assists, Faker is being closely chased by Keria.

According to statistics from professionals, before the T1 – KT match, Faker had a total of 955 kill assists throughout all previous World Championships. Right behind him is Keria, with 928 kill assists. Thus, the number Keria needs to match Faker’s current achievement is 27. This means that if the World Championship finals only last 3 – 4 games, Keria needs an average of 12 – 15 assists per game to catch up and surpass his captain’s number.

But It’s Not Easy for Keria to Surpass Faker
Currently, Faker rarely plays the role of primary damage dealer and leans more towards making plays. Therefore, his number of kills may stagnate or only increase slightly, but his assists are rapidly increasing with each game. This will be a significant challenge for Keria if he wants to reach Faker’s record, not to mention surpassing his mentor.

Moreover, in a match, winning is the most important thing and surpasses personal records. Therefore, perhaps the top priority for both Keria and Faker is to help T1 secure victory in the upcoming finals, and only then think about the achievements that can come from that victory.
