A few days ago, South Korea officially announced the roster for the national team for League of Legends (LoL) at ASIAD 2022. With the T1 core consisting of Faker, Keria, Zeus, and two high-performing players named Ruler and Kanavi, the Korean LoL team is highly regarded.

Meanwhile, the LPL has yet to provide information regarding the roster for the upcoming Asian Games. In fact, some sources in the LPL region have revealed that players competing in the LPL Summer 2023 will not be able to participate in ASIAD 2022 due to a scheduling conflict with the LPL Summer 2023 matches.
As soon as this information surfaced, it sparked lively discussions among LPL fans. Many believe that retired players who are no longer competing could be given a chance at the upcoming ASIAD 2022. There’s even speculation that Uzi might make a comeback to compete at the Asian Games.

This truly is an exciting scenario where Uzi could reunite with Faker at a major tournament. Remember that at ASIAD 2018, Uzi and his teammates defeated Faker’s Korean LoL team to win the gold medal. If these two legends could “rematch” once again, it would attract significant attention from the audience.

However, the possibility of Uzi competing in the upcoming ASIAD remains quite unlikely. He was not included in the shortlist prepared for the Asian Games. Hopefully, the LPL will soon resolve the scheduling issues and announce the official roster for ASIAD 2022 as soon as possible.
