In Teamfight Tactics (TFT) season 8 and 8.5, which recently concluded, Lee Sin was considered one of the champions with the strongest defensive capabilities, despite being a 2-cost champion. Accordingly, Lee Sin in season 8 had 3 origins: Brawler – Lover – Superhuman, with the selected ability being Guardian. This allowed Lee Sin to have a large amount of health, along with the ability to create a shield when using his ability, making him a reliable tank.

Many players discovered that if they placed 2 Lee Sin champions next to each other on the board and equipped them both with complete tank items, this duo could not only absorb all damage but also be unbeatable. Even if the opponent used any powerful skills, the virtual shield and health of Lee Sin would remain unaffected.
This was concerning, especially since the Superhuman composition could boost the entire team’s power. As long as the backline dealt enough damage, there was no need to wait for the next skill use, the opponent would be completely defeated. At that time, Riot had to make an urgent adjustment and confirmed that this was a severe bug, heavily affecting players.

However, this bug has reappeared with the champion Taric in the new season. In TFT Set 9, Lee Sin is no longer present, and instead, Taric has emerged as a very solid tank. Taric in season 9 has 3 origins: Targon, Guardian, and Supreme Sorcerer. These are all origins that provide powerful healing and shielding capabilities.
Accordingly, players have discovered that when placing 2 Taric champions next to each other on the board, along with full tank items, these two champions completely do not receive any damage after their virtual shields are activated. Moreover, all allied champions do not lose a single point of health even when the opponent uses their skills as usual.

Of course, after the shields and armor disappear, Taric returns to normal. But as the footage has shown, the opponents could not wait until Taric was able to take damage. With such a bug that can completely change the outcome of a match, it’s clear that this is something no one desires. It seems that Riot needs to review and make appropriate adjustments soon.
