Since its launch, Tech Lore has become an indispensable part of Teamfight Tactics (TFT). In fact, these lores can directly influence the outcome of a match. Therefore, players must conduct certain research to find the appropriate lore for their strategies. Moving into season 9, Tech Lore further combines with the Legendary mechanism, adding even more excitement to TFT.

Besides the normal mechanism Tech Lores, there are quite a few that force players to sacrifice something to gain the highest returns. These lores are often very powerful but only suitable for experienced players, and of course, luck is also a factor.
Dark Crown
One of the familiar and highly favored lores by TFT gamers but not easy to use is the Dark Crown. Players using this lore will gain 2 additional slots on their board, but in return, they will also take double damage whenever they receive damage according to the round’s regulations.

This helps players become powerful early on, but they can also be eliminated quickly in a match, especially towards the end if they do not upgrade their team strength early. However, this lore is not actually too difficult; it just requires players to upgrade their team earlier than usual.
Sinister Pact
With this lore, players will truly have to put themselves in a dangerous situation to enhance their power. Because with this Tech Lore, players will buy experience points with their own health. And when reaching level 7, players will find their health nearly at the bottom.

At this point, if the team is not strong enough or gets eliminated too quickly, the amount of health regained will not be enough to compensate, causing players to be quickly eliminated. Many players have underestimated the damage and have been taken out after maximizing upgrades with this Tech Lore.
AFK Lores
These lores force players to remain inactive (unable to interact with the team) for a certain period. In return, players will receive a corresponding return after that period of inactivity.

However, this is considered a rather risky lore because during the inactivity period, if the opponent upgrades their team in time, there may not be many useful pieces left to buy due to being contested. Moreover, the inability to arrange or upgrade the team can cause players to drop ranks very quickly after just 2-3 rounds, especially if this lore appears in the late game.
Conclusion
The choice of suitable lores will greatly affect the outcome of the match. Therefore, players need to make their selections and calculations carefully. Because sometimes, just one wrong choice can render all efforts useless and lead to an undesired result.
