Faker Experiences a “Funny Yet Sad” Incident in Ranked Matches
Just a few days away, the League of Legends community will witness the 2025 World Championship finals – the most anticipated match of the year and also the first time in history that T1 faces KT. Historically, this has always been a “telecom war” renowned in the Korean and global League of Legends scene. But at the World Championship, this will be the first “telecom war”. However, leading up to the match, Faker has put the community through a rollercoaster of emotions.

Specifically, in a recent ranked match, Faker was unexpectedly taken down by a Wolf monster while playing Rengar in the jungle. This was a “funny yet sad” situation, which many believe was due to Faker’s failure to calculate the damage from this jungle monster as well as being overconfident about Rengar’s recovery ability. However, some opinions suggest that this could be Faker’s way of activating the “mechanics” for the upcoming finals against KT.
– Oh no, KT, T1 is “waking up” again
– T1 really needs jungle monsters to activate their passive
– That’s T1 for you, always together, even getting solo killed by jungle monsters

The Community Outraged as Faker is “Stalked” at the Pool
Not just humorous stories, with his influence and fame, Faker is always a “magnet” for attention wherever he goes. Recently, according to some information from the LPL, Faker was allegedly stalked by a fan who intentionally broke into the hotel swimming pool changing room to take photos of him. Notably, this person later posted pictures of Faker on social media.

Of course, after the incident was discovered, the “perpetrator” was sued. However, many fans also expressed their concern for Faker. This is not the first time Faker has been “stalked” during tournaments, but it raises concerns about the security of players, especially with the most important match of the season ahead of them.
