GAM Stars Can’t Hide Their Overflowing Emotions
Before the match against G2 began, many VCS fans might have felt a bit “no hope” for GAM in the fight for the last ticket to advance past the Play-In stage to the main event of MSI 2025. However, when GAM valiantly equalized to 2-2 and maintained a balanced game against G2 throughout the early phase of game 5, VCS fans and perhaps the GAM players themselves had hope restored. But then everything fell apart as G2 swiftly obliterated the VCS representatives.

Of course, in this loss, the players were the most saddened. A clear representation of this is the disappointment and frustration visible on Levi’s face after the match concluded. Having fought for many years and experienced numerous defeats—many of which were quite humiliating—it has been a long time since we’ve seen Levi so emotionally overwhelmed. The seasoned captain of GAM and VCS couldn’t hold back tears of regret. Perhaps Levi himself senses that his playing time is running out, and each tournament passing is a bitter reminder for him of not being able to perform better with GAM.

VCS Audience Has Conflicting Opinions About GAM Players
For the majority of VCS fans, GAM’s loss is truly regrettable, and the players have put in their utmost effort. However, there are also many opinions suggesting that the players lost to a much stronger team, and this defeat was somewhat predictable. There are many tournaments ahead to strive for, and perhaps there’s no need to be too saddened. Furthermore, this is not the first time GAM has failed in the Play-In stage of an international tournament, and many have grown “accustomed” to this “achievement.”

However, emotions are immeasurable, and the players are only human, with their regrets and bitterness upon losing. Therefore, it is completely normal for Levi and his teammates to shed tears, and they are the ones who need the support of their local League of Legends fans the most at this moment.
