As known, alongside the 2023 World Championship (CKTG) of the League of Legends community, around the same time, the game DOTA 2 also has a highly anticipated tournament, known as The International 2023, or TI12. This year’s tournament marked the second team, after OG, to defend its TI championship, which is Team Spirit. Notably, the early part of this team’s year was not very good. However, they revived just in time and continued to etch their name in the history of DOTA 2 and the prestigious TI tournament.

Before the tournament, there were some rumors about the TI Compendium Book this year being too low. This is because the reward items are no longer enticing enough. Recently, the DOTA 2 community was buzzing when the Arab prince also showed less enthusiasm in spending money than in previous years. On many forums, even the players voiced their opinions when Valve clearly made the rewards much less appealing than in previous years.

As we know, the famous adult film actress from the DOTA 2 community – Eva Elfie announced that she would donate all the money from her photo sales during the last three days of TI to support the champion team. As a result, she raised $20,000 and added $5,000 of her own money to contribute to the fund. Of course, her actions were supported by many DOTA 2 fans. However, her gesture did not receive agreement from the TS players – the current TI12 champions.

In fact, the TS side, specifically the team’s manager – Korb3n, bluntly stated: “We refuse Eva Elfie’s gift because why should we create a reputation for someone? This is just a cheap PR stunt. If she wants to contribute to the prize pool, then why not buy levels of the Compendium?”

Clearly, the straightforward statement from TS was a “cold shower” for Eva. But perhaps, this girl simply wanted to contribute more rewards for the champions. Currently, Eva has not yet stated how the raised money will be handled since TS has refused this gift.
