As mentioned, Slayder recently left GAM Esports after his first World Championship (Worlds) in this AD Carry’s career. Notably, Slayder only played for the yellow-black team for just one season in the VCS Hoàng Hôn 2023, and then participated in one Worlds. This can be said to be one of the notable players in the Vietnamese LoL scene, but his career with the reigning champion has been incredibly brief, despite the fact that Slayder has performed quite well throughout this time.

Slayder’s departure from GAM surprised even industry experts. According to former coach Tinikun’s revelations, Slayder may still harbor ambitions to compete abroad. However, at this point, if he leaves the VCS, Slayder’s most likely destination would only be LEC or LCS. Nonetheless, in a recent livestream, Slayder revealed something different regarding his departure from GAM.

Accordingly, before starting the conversation, Slayder affirmed that he did not want to leave and that parting with GAM this time was unavoidable. However, Slayder also realized that he was still in GAM’s gaming house, so he promised that “when the move is complete, he will reveal the inner workings,” especially when GAM participates in Worlds 2023. Additionally, Slayder noted that he would only share what he felt comfortable with, while other matters would “be left to fade into oblivion.” Before ending the livestream, the former GAM star hinted: “People only see what they want to show you.”
From Slayder’s revelations, it can be seen that GAM’s internal situation is not necessarily as stable and united as portrayed in the documentary clips. Moreover, many fans also feel there are unresolved issues, as Slayder himself previously stated that he did not want to be transferred or have to find another team.

On the GAM side, the team has yet to show any new movements following the recent farewells of several members, as well as regarding Slayder’s recent comments. But with just a few hints, Slayder has certainly piqued the curiosity of many VCS fans, who are now eagerly awaiting what information the reigning VCS champions will disclose in the near future.
