As we know, since the incident of inappropriate comments back in 2021 during the sensitive pandemic situation across the country, Zeros has officially received a Global Ban from Riot. This means that all professional LoL related activities of Zeros have been completely cut off. He cannot participate in any activities related to other Riot games like VALORANT or League of Legends: Wild Rift. After that incident, Zeros retired and became a streamer, but things have not gone smoothly for him.

After being repeatedly banned from platforms and having his account locked by Riot, recently Zeros has become more low-profile. However, that doesn’t mean the former SBTC Esports star has stopped drawing attention. Yet, Zeros’s actions have often been negative and have frustrated the Vietnamese LoL audience. Notably, just recently, while he was playing ranked in Korea, he interacted with teammates in a controversial manner.

Specifically, Zeros had a poor game and “fed” so much that it frustrated his teammates. A player from rank Korea asked Zeros for the reason, and he explained it was due to the server. In fact, according to some comments from viewers watching the livestream, Zeros had changed his IP region, leading to high ping as an excuse for his poor gameplay. But what’s even more concerning is that Zeros claimed to be a “pro gamer from Vietnam” when questioned by teammates.

This sparked a wave of mixed opinions. Most viewers disapproved and even condemned Zeros for claiming to be a “pro gamer” from Vietnam. This is because his professional gamer status was revoked by Riot due to the Global Ban. Moreover, Riot has set many strict regulations regarding game sabotage on the Korean server. The fact that Zeros can play at this rank can be considered a violation of Riot’s rules. His self-proclamation also impacts the image of the VCS region in the eyes of the international community.

Although he still receives some support, or simply indifference from VCS fans, it cannot be denied that Zeros claiming to be a “pro gamer from Vietnam” after “feeding” is completely inaccurate and provides misleading information. Of course, Riot will not penalize the entire VCS region for this, but clearly, Zeros’s actions are only causing him to become increasingly distanced from the VCS audience.
