Faker Implies “Extremely Strong” Without Saying a Word
Since the start of the 2025 season until now, T1’s journey can only be described as acceptable. Of course, there are still some bright spots after a not-so-great initial phase, but the important thing is that T1 is still in a winless phase. Meanwhile, both HLE and Gen.G have already secured at least two titles, whether officially recognized in Riot’s system or not. However, 2025 also seems to be the time we see a confident Faker again, even showcasing some of that boldness from before.

Accordingly, in a short clip with the content “Silence Challenge”, the question posed to Faker was whether he would speak up when he sees a Mid Laner he considers better than himself at the moment. In the end, Faker remained silent from start to finish, even when it came to players like Caps, ShowMaker, or even Chovy – who recently defeated T1 to claim the MSI 2025 title and then AG.AL to become the new king of EWC 2025.
But Faker’s Confidence is Necessary
Currently, Chovy seems to be outperforming Faker in both form and skill, and this is even more evident when the two teams face each other. However, Faker’s confidence is essential in the context where T1 is still under scrutiny. With confidence comes a relaxed mindset, which could help both T1 and Faker achieve good results during the most critical phase of this season.

Additionally, this season, Chovy has not yet had a match that truly dominated Faker. This is a key factor, and in the upcoming encounters, if Faker can at least force Chovy not to play in his usual style, T1 could very well think about securing victories against Gen.G.
