To become a player like Faker has been and is currently, a professional player not only requires skills or combat experience. For Faker, it is also a synthesis of the highest level of professionalism, a serious attitude towards his career to the extent of avoiding all forms of indulgence or even extramarital relationships. Not to mention, Faker also possesses an inspiring ability that not everyone has. The LoL community has seen this fully during the time Faker had to take a break to recover from an injury and how T1 struggled in his absence as a leader.

But from Faker’s injury, a question has always echoed for T1, the LCK, and the entire LoL community: When Faker has issues, who will be capable enough to replace him? The evidence was clear that only Gumayusi somewhat maintained his form. However, Gumayusi also made mistakes in the finals against Gen.G later on. While not many dared to believe that T1 would win the LCK Summer 2023, Gumayusi’s mistake was indeed hard to accept.

However, a recent personality survey has indicated that a player could become a new “inspiration” at T1 alongside Faker. Accordingly, the personality survey revealed that Keria is also an ENFP. Those in the ENFP group are considered to be “inspiring” individuals. Although somewhat mysterious, this group is extroverted, always curious about everything, and quite idealistic. Moreover, ENFPs have a high ability to empathize with the emotions of others.

It is undeniable that Faker is emotional and idealistic. At the same time, since gathering with new teammates, Faker has somewhat reduced his introversion. Although he still focuses on LoL, it cannot be denied that Faker has become more sociable and is not afraid to engage in the playful banter of the younger players.

More importantly, in a recent stream, Keria also showed that he belongs to the ENFP group, similar to Faker and is also an “inspiring person.” Keria himself has always been an emotional person, and he is not afraid to express his emotions outwardly. Moreover, in the current T1, there has been plenty of evidence showing that Keria executes short calls very accurately.
Of course, Keria will still need to train his composure and leadership abilities significantly if he wants to truly become a “perfect successor” to Faker. But if T1 focuses on nurturing him, they may have found a successor to Faker right within their current roster, not too far away.
