In the League of Legends community, especially in Ranked mode, negative issues are still rampant. Examples include game-throwing players or those who exhibit toxic behavior after just a few bad plays from teammates… Among them, we cannot ignore the “actors”, players who “lack skill but have plenty of tricks” that make the Ranked mode problematic. In fact, some even reach high ranks solely due to cheating tactics that are hard to detect unless closely monitored. Even Riot has no way to address this issue.

However, these players are quite difficult to fool the gaming community, especially if they are in the high ranks from Challenger and above. Specifically, the case of a player with an ingame account named “hv****” is causing heated debates. This player currently holds the Top 1 Challenger rank on the Vietnam server but raises suspicions of performing elo boosting tricks. This is made clearer as many have pointed out the anomalies of this player whenever climbing ranks.

Accordingly, in many matches of this player, there are always familiar accounts on the opposing side of “hv****”, sometimes “Nàng***”, sometimes “Lady**”. The common feature of these accounts is that they frequently play in a position opposite to “hv****” regardless of how many times they meet. But more importantly, in situations where they confront each other, these accounts always allow “hv****” to gain advantages from their kills.

According to many opinions from the VCS gaming community, it is clear that there is a very sophisticated elo boosting from the player “hv****”. However, this behavior is not considered game-throwing or intentional feeding, which is why this player has not been punished. In fact, some gamers even assert that many high-ranking players exhibit similar behaviors. But the tricks are so subtle that no one can notice unless they observe very closely.

As of now, the account of this player is still operating normally. And perhaps, if no one reports with a suitable reason, this gamer will continue to climb the ranks steadily with their tricks. Other players might just have to wait for Riot to revise their matchmaking and team composition system. But when that will happen is anyone’s guess.
