As we know, since the drama with former SBTC Esports player – Zeros, former VCS Winter 2021 champion E. has nearly faded from his career. Not only due to E.’s mental health issues, but also the player’s behavior on social media platforms. Once regarded as the “successor of SofM” and one of the few players capable of truly challenging Levi, E. has lost everything, from personal development opportunities in the professional League of Legends environment to his very career as a player.

Recently, numerous VCS fans have shared messages regarding E. contacting them to borrow money. Naturally, almost no one responded to the former champion’s requests for assistance. In fact, many didn’t even bother to reply to E.’s urgent messages. Meanwhile, this player continuously claimed he would pay back soon, but even more notably, he used SofM’s name to ask for money. Specifically, according to information provided by SofM himself, E. asserted that he was preparing to join SofM’s Vikings Esports and would work to repay the debt if given a loan.

Immediately, SofM’s side had to respond to this issue. In a post on the evening of February 1st, SofM affirmed that there were no recruitment plans involving E. and that there had been no actions related to the former CES star. Additionally, SofM’s official page cautioned the VCS community to avoid being misled by the one-sided information provided by the former player.

Below SofM’s post, many fans expressed their clear frustration and disappointment upon seeing that a former player, who had once received professional advice from SofM while still competing, now exploited his idol’s name for illegal gain. Moreover, the actions of the former player E. not only affected him personally but also implicated SofM and his team VKE. Not long ago, E. even entered the SofM fan chat to request joining VKE, causing quite a stir among fans.

Currently, there have been no new developments from E.’s side following SofM’s post. But clearly, he is leaving himself with no way out. Perhaps at this point, completely locking down all social media platforms and withdrawing from the professional League of Legends scene may be the only way to close the chapter on all the drama and troubles E. has caused for the VCS community and himself.
