Just within a few days, TFT Season 11 has officially launched to the gaming community and quickly garnered much love as many players dove into research and exploration. In TFT Season 11, Riot has changed nearly all of the champion traits. At the same time, many new mechanics have been implemented to continue the mission of bringing the most beloved game mode after League of Legends. Among the strategies being applied, Shadow – Reaper is proving effective with its comprehensive offensive and defensive capabilities.

Overview and Operation
The Shadow – Reaper composition may remind players of the Assassin or Infiltrator traits from previous seasons. However, a special feature of both traits applied in this composition is that they still possess champions with a strong tanking tendency to ensure defensive capability. Additionally, the abundant damage from both physical and magical sources of Shadow – Reaper allows players to feel more comfortable in building their team.

Moreover, Shadow becomes stronger towards the end of the match with Sylas or Sett, as Alune possesses multi-target skills. Coupled with the effects triggered by the traits, Shadow – Reaper is an effective choice to surpass some currently popular compositions like Warlord or Fate.
Building the Composition
In the early game, players can utilize the duo of primary damage dealers Kindred – Darius, along with Yorick and Kha’Zix, to have both damage and basic defensive capabilities. If needed, Cho’Gath can be added to trigger the Giant trait, enhancing the tankiness of the front line. Additionally, if Yone is acquired early, it will be a very favorable start to deploy the Shadow – Reaper composition.

With Yorick, players can choose to include Shen and Illaoi to both activate the Giant trait and gain additional defensive strength from Spirit. At this point, players can temporarily drop Kha’Zix to the bench while using Jax or Garen, Amumu to trigger the Guardian trait. Most importantly, accumulating gold and equipping components is crucial for progressing towards the late game.

Towards the end of the game, players can opt for Aatrox instead of Shen and bring Sett into the match to activate both the Shadow and Brawler traits to increase health for the entire team. Kayn will also be a good option, and at this point, players should spend as much gold as possible to reach at least level 8. Ideally, reaching level 9 with an optimized composition will be best: Sett – Aatrox – Yorick – Sylas – Yone – Kindred – Kha’Zix – Illaoi – Kayn.

This composition requires Technology Augments that provide additional attack speed, ability power, and attack power. Additionally, some Technology Augments that provide extra positions on the board will be useful for activating the highest possible trait thresholds.
Strengths and Weaknesses
The Shadow – Reaper composition has a diverse damage source but still has a weakness of reaching power thresholds relatively slowly and requiring many items. Therefore, if players feel unable to upgrade key champions like Yone and Kindred to 3 stars with optimal items, they may need to consider alternative strategies and adapt their gameplay as they enter the decisive phase.
