In 2024, AOE Vietnam – China will continue to be a special event. The tournament is organized by Thiên Khôi Esports, an entity established by Thiên Khôi Group. Although it has only officially joined the AoE community for nearly a year, Thiên Khôi Esports has gathered a professional team with a high sense of responsibility and, notably, a great passion for the AoE game.
With strong financial backing from Thiên Khôi Group, the organizing team of Thiên Khôi Esports is fully confident in delivering a professional, attractive, and grand tournament that is the best in the AoE community of both Vietnam and China to date.
The tournament, officially named AOE Vietnam – China 2024 – Thiên Khôi Cup, will gather top star players from both communities to compete in 7 formats including: Solo Random, Solo Assyrian, Solo Shang, 2vs2 Random, 2vs2 Assyrian, 2vs2 Shang mixed, and 4vs4 Random, all of which are traditional, familiar, and beloved formats by fans.
Notably, the total prize pool amounts to 1,003,000,000 VNĐ, which includes title rewards and image copyright fees paid to each player based on their performance in each competition format. This means that the more effort players put in to advance in the tournament, the more they will receive. More importantly, even players eliminated in the early rounds will receive support for image copyright fees. This is a rare occurrence in previous AoE tournaments and demonstrates the long-term vision of Thiên Khôi Esports, which aims for each tournament to be a source of income for all players, providing them with more motivation to continue pursuing their passion for a game that is nearly 30 years old.
Officially kicking off on March 26, as of now, the AOE Vietnam – China 2024 Thiên Khôi Cup has completed its preliminary round to select outstanding representatives from Vietnam to participate in the finals.
Currently, the list of Vietnamese players who have passed the qualifiers as well as the lineup of Chinese AoE players has been fully announced on the official channel of the organizing committee, the Thiên Khôi Esports fanpage.
According to the plan, the finals will take place from April 6 to April 12 at the headquarters of Thiên Khôi Group, 2nd floor of Mipec building, 229 Sơn Tây, Ngã Tư Sở, Đống Đa, Hanoi. It can be said that the next 7 days will be a gathering of the elite of AoE Vietnam – China at Thiên Khôi Group, and also a 7-day period of “eating and sleeping with AoE” for fans in the AoE communities of both countries.

Before the finals officially commence on April 6, Thiên Khôi Esports is also organizing several high-profile Showmatch matches to provide AoE fans with additional exciting content. Additionally, on the evening of April 5, a Gala Dinner will be held at the 5-star JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi to welcome the Chinese AoE delegation coming to Vietnam for the tournament, as well as an opportunity for all professional AoE players from both countries to meet and mingle before stepping into a tense and competitive arena.
