LG Electronics (LG) collaborates with the world’s leading Esports organization Gen.G (Gen.G) to execute a series of events exclusively for the gaming community at Another Saigon – LG’s product experience space.
On May 25, a meet and greet with members of Gen.G – the first team in the history of the Korean League of Legends (LCK) to win the domestic tournament 4 times in a row – will take place at Another Saigon. As part of this special event series, in response to the support from the Vietnamese Esports community, LG and Gen.G will co-organize a tournament named “Life’s Good”, providing amateur gamers the opportunity to compete with the champions under the guidance of two special guests, Mai Dora and Optimus.
Specifically, 120 lucky fans randomly selected will have the chance to interact and participate in a photo session with 5 famous players from the Gen.G team, as well as experience groundbreaking technology products from LG at the Another Saigon venue. To meet the champions, users need to register in advance here.
Additionally, two amateur brackets led by Mai Dora and Optimus will be organized to find the top 4 teams from each bracket. In the semi-finals held at Another Saigon, the top 8 teams will compete to find the sole team that will face off directly against Gen.G. Before facing the champions, the winner of the “Life’s Good” tournament will participate in an exclusive training program from the Gen.G Global Academy. Furthermore, each member of the winning team will receive an LG UltraGear™ gaming monitor.
This special event series is the result of the partnership between LG’s premium gaming monitor brand – LG UltraGear™ and Gen.G. With leading market display solutions, especially products specifically designed for gamers, LG has been an official partner of the world’s leading Esports organization since 2021. This collaboration has helped Gen.G and its players continuously achieve outstanding accomplishments, such as victories at the LCK Summer 2022, LCK Spring – Summer 2023, and LCK Spring 2024.
