3 Champions Soon to Be Removed from Teamfight Tactics That Players Will Regret the Most

Teamfight Tactics is about to receive a massive update that will remove a series of powerful champions, leaving players feeling regretful.

Jhin

“The Virtuoso” – Jhin is arguably one of the strongest long-range carries in Teamfight Tactics, as the damage output of this champion is always very high, even when not activating his traits. In fact, in recent patches, Jhin has been so strong that he can easily carry the damage for the entire team. All players need to do is build a robust frontline to protect Jhin while he unleashes his firepower.

Perhaps due to his overwhelming strength, Jhin has made it onto the list of champions soon to be removed from Teamfight Tactics. His disappearance will deprive the Cultist and Sniper compositions of an incredibly strong carry in the late game. It’s likely that Riot’s decision to remove Jhin will render these two compositions weak to the point of being “trash” after the mid-season update of Teamfight Tactics.

Ahri

Players of the Mage class are likely feeling mixed emotions right now upon hearing the news that Ahri is set to be removed. They are, of course, happy that the Mage composition is extremely strong in the current meta. However, they can hardly smile knowing that the champion with the highest damage output in the Mage team – Ahri – is about to be removed from the game. This decision from Riot may stem from their inability to find a way to balance Ahri despite implementing a series of nerfs.

Riot’s biggest mistake in adjusting Ahri was allowing her to hold two Spellthief’s Gloves, pushing her damage output to excessive levels. Riot may believe that having a champion hold two Spellthief’s Gloves is not imbalanced, and their decision is to remove Ahri in the upcoming mid-season update.

Warwick

It’s not an exaggeration to say that removing Warwick in the upcoming mid-season update will significantly weaken the Divine composition, potentially causing it to disappear from the meta. Although the true damage of this trait remains unchanged, the lack of a substantial amount of attack speed from Warwick will prevent the Divine composition from optimizing its damage output.

Kayle may become an incredibly strong champion in the future; however, her dominance primarily comes from the Blade Master trait, and true damage only serves as a supplementary role. With Warwick’s departure, the Divine trait is likely to face a similar fate to the early stages of Season 4. While its win rate may not be as bad as in the past, it will primarily be due to Kayle being an overpowered champion, not because the Divine trait has achieved stable power.
