Former VCS Marksman in Trouble
In the history of VCS, while it may not have developed as much as Major regions, it has produced quite a few players who have made an impression on the domestic and international League of Legends community. One of them is Slayder – the former marksman of GAM Esports and the first Vietnamese League of Legends player to move to Europe to join a team from Saudi Arabia – Nigma Galaxy.

Since the tournament that Nigma is participating in is not of the highest level, combined with his talent and available experience, Slayder has adapted very quickly. However, soon, the former VCS champion may face significant challenges in his career.
According to information circulating in the European League of Legends community, Nigma is planning to acquire Rogue’s LEC spot. With the LEC having been a franchise league for a long time, this transaction is entirely within Nigma’s capabilities, and the team is financially capable of meeting all of Nigma’s requirements. However, a problem will arise: Slayder will have almost no chance of donning the jersey of the team competing in EMEA.

Former VCS Champion at Risk of Unemployment
In reality, Slayder has talent, and that is undeniable. But clearly, in his first and only time so far at the World Championship, Slayder did not make much of an impression. Meanwhile, the LEC is the highest-level competition in European League of Legends and far exceeds VCS in skill. Slayder’s opponents at that time will be Hans sama, Noah, or even Flakked – all renowned players who are significantly better in every aspect compared to Slayder’s opponents in the Arab league or VCS.

Nigma is fully capable of “refreshing” the entire roster. And players like Slayder, without needing to say, it is clear that he will find it difficult to compete with quality marksmen in the LEC or foreign players. Moreover, Nigma’s goal in joining the LEC (if any) will also be to win titles, and they will add players capable of competing for those titles.

Slayder’s future seems quite uncertain. However, in some scenario, he could return to VCS and may still find suitable opportunities for himself.
