Riot launches a new line of LoL skins with special effects
Back in mid-2024, Riot released the Hall of Legends skin line for Faker to honor the legendary Mid Lane player from T1. At that time and up until less than 24 hours ago, this HoL skin line was considered the most invested costume by Riot, and also the most expensive. Among them, the Ahri skin was the main feature and had a total of 3 upgrade modes if players purchased all the mechanisms in the collection. Although it was pricey (in the Vietnam server, it reached up to 6 million VND), because it was a rare skin honoring Faker, the community was still happy to “dig into their pockets”.

However, recently, Riot officially announced that it would develop a new skin line. Accordingly, Jinx will be the first champion to own this skin, and the new costume will be named Exalted (previously appeared as a Trait in Teamfight Tactics season 10). Jinx wearing this skin will have 2 transformation mechanics (similar to the 3 modes of Ahri HoL or some Ultimate skins). Notably, players can change form right in the game with Ctrl + 5.

Mechanism to own the new LoL skin makes gamers “scream”
With special mechanics and being a new skin line that has been invested quite a lot, gamers can also guess that this outfit will not be cheap at all. However, in this case, even having a lot of money might not guarantee ownership. Specifically, players can only obtain the Jinx Exalted skin through a lucky draw with a rate of 0.5%. Each spin costs 400 RP, but if players want to own the skin, in the case of spinning enough 80 times, it will cost about 32k RP (equivalent to approximately 4.2 million VND).

With a price nearly equal to a HoL skin, Exalted Jinx (and future skins in the Exalted line) could become the most expensive skins in LoL because HoL is a collection released over time, not permanently available in the Shop. Additionally, the 4.2 million VND figure is too high for regular gamers. Of course, this “bloodsucking” move by Riot has received quite negative feedback from players.

Nevertheless, if the Jinx Exalted skin in particular and the Exalted line in general are truly “worth the money”, there may still be gamers willing to “dig deep” to own them.
