Salary Information Emerges for Faker and Other LoL Stars
In the professional LoL scene, it’s well known that Faker’s salary is likely the highest in the LCK, if not globally. There was even a time when teams were ready to offer blank checks just to recruit T1’s Midlaner. Recently, Korean media also reported that not only Faker but several other LoL superstars have “massive” salaries.

According to Daum, Faker’s current salary is estimated to be over 10 billion won per year (more than 173 billion VND). However, this likely includes endorsement deals and other income sources (such as streaming and rent from the Faker Tower building). Regardless, this income level is enviable even among LoL superstars.
Not only Faker, but players from the ZOFGK roster also reportedly earn around 1 billion won per person annually. Given their achievements and established influence, their salaries are expected to rise rather than fall. This likely explains why T1’s payroll has remained maxed out for years, despite dominating Worlds but not securing many additional LCK or MSI titles aside from the 2022 Spring Championship.

Besides Faker and the ZOFGK stars, players like Viper (around 4 billion won) and Kiin (around 2 billion won) were also mentioned. These are impressive figures even compared to some traditional sports.

But the Salary Is Considered Well-Deserved for Faker
Faker is not only indispensable to T1 and the LCK but also to the entire LoL scene. His contributions and influence are undeniable. Given everything he has given to LoL, his astronomical salary seems entirely justified.
