Faker unexpectedly speaks about Oner’s contribution to T1
As known, KeSPA has announced the South Korea LoL roster for ASIAD 2026 in Japan, and the most notable absence is Oner. The T1 Jungler has maintained extremely high form and has been a key contributor to T1’s victories. He is even a critical piece in T1’s gameplay. Recently, Faker also commented on the younger player’s contributions.

Faker said about Oner: “Actually, Oner contributes a lot to the team, but unfortunately, his efforts haven’t received much attention from outsiders. However, I always firmly believe Oner will perform well in every match, and the same applies if he gets selected for the national team. That’s why I silently support Oner.”

Faker and T1 Are a Very Unpredictable Team
In reality, not every T1 game is perfect; on the contrary, there have been many occasions where opponents had a chance to win. However, the danger with T1 is that when people think they will lose, T1 has players who can cause surprises and turn the game around. Oner’s outstanding performance on Lee Sin in the BO5 during the Korean qualifiers for EWC 2026 against DK is one example.

Therefore, whether at present or entering the Road to MSI 2026 phase, strong teams like HLE or Gen.G must still be wary of T1. Because at any moment, a superstar from T1 can make opponents regret it. Especially since T1 has many superstars capable of creating such moments.
