Information About Vietnam’s LoL Team for ASIAD Sparks Speculation
Recently, the first details about Vietnam’s League of Legends team for the upcoming ASIAD have surfaced. Of course, VIRESA has yet to officially announce the roster or coaching staff for the tournament, but fans have uncovered some “hints.” According to these, there will be 3 players from TSW, 2 from GAM, and 1 from MVK. Additionally, the official VCS page recently released new clues that have fueled further speculation.

Based on the information posted by this page, combined with previous details, many fans have begun to speculate on which players and staff members will definitely be present. Names like SofM and Kiaya are very likely to be selected. SofM’s knowledge, influence, and coaching skills are unquestionable. As for Kiaya, in terms of experience and impact, he is equal to or surpasses Pun from TSW.
Since TSW players make up the majority, they will likely fill the roles of Jungle, Midlane, and ADC. Meanwhile, the remaining GAM member is probably Taki. In fact, Taki remains the captain of TSW for the 2025 season, so he won’t need much time to adjust. Thus, the lineup is basically complete and meets the initial criteria hinted at.

Vietnam’s LoL Team Expected to Face Challenges at ASIAD
Although this may be Vietnam’s strongest roster currently, the team is expected to encounter difficulties at ASIAD. Besides traditionally strong teams from China and Korea, teams from Taipei cannot be underestimated, with players like JunJia and HongQ maintaining good form. On the positive side, this could relieve some pressure on Vietnamese players as they no longer carry the full burden of expectations.
