Gumayusi reveals news that quietly excites Vietnamese LoL fans
As known, on the afternoon of May 10 (Vietnam time), the second match of two games in the LCK Roadshow journey of KRX this season took place. Facing an opponent like HLE, victory is currently almost impossible for KRX. On HLE’s side, they also had a special experience in an LCK match held internationally. Among them, Gumayusi was the most notable name, with a large Vietnamese fanbase and this being his first time visiting Vietnam.
During the post-match press conference, Gumayusi was the player receiving the most questions. Notably, one of these was Gumayusi’s reveal that HLE will return to Vietnam again in June. Previously, this information was also accidentally revealed by Zeus on stream. This will be HLE’s annual FAN FEST event.
Specifically, Gumayusi stated: “I haven’t experienced pho yet because I haven’t had much time. But I’ve tried mango. Still, I hope when I come to Vietnam in June, I can experience more fully. I wonder if this information has been disclosed yet, or should I take back what I just said?”
HLE becomes the first team to enter Road to MSI 2026
With their win over KRX, “the Cam house” has secured 11 wins in the group stage so far. Thus, they are the first team to qualify for the Road to MSI 2026. HLE’s upcoming goal will be to maintain the top spot to increase their chances of earning a ticket to the tournament held in their home country, South Korea.
This is both an easy and difficult goal. If HLE maintains their current form, and direct rivals (Gen.G, T1, KT) battle among themselves, securing a top 1-2 position is straightforward. However, HLE also needs to focus on their own performance, continuing to maintain peak form as tough opponents await ahead.
