T1 Nearly Lost Star Support Keria
Since its founding, SKT T1/T1 has achieved tremendous success, becoming the most decorated team in League of Legends history, but also facing its share of setbacks. The highs and lows of SKT T1/T1 are closely tied to the legend Faker and his teammates. However, the organization has made several transfer mistakes, one of which was initially rejecting Keria.

According to a recently released documentary about Keria, SKT T1 once rejected one of the best Supports in the League of Legends scene. At that time, Keria applied to join academy teams including SKT T1, Jin Air, MVP, and Afreeca. He underwent a one-month trial at SKT T1 but ultimately the team decided to keep Lava and Aiming instead.

History proved that Keria was the “true gem” SKT T1 almost missed out on, as he went on to establish his name at DRX before eventually returning to T1. Meanwhile, Lava moved through several teams after failing to secure a spot on the main roster and retired early. Aiming joined some notable teams but has yet to win any major titles.

Keria Set to Remain with T1 for His Entire Career
With a contract running through 2029, Keria is poised to become the longest-tenured Support in T1’s history. He will also be Faker’s longest-serving teammate throughout the G.O.A.T’s career. While Keria’s start with T1 was rocky, the ending is expected to be fulfilling for both the player and the team he cherishes.
