A T1 Skin Unexpectedly Becomes the “Outcast”
Recently, all the official information including splash art, pricing, and effects of the T1 skin line for the 2024 World Championship has officially “arrived” in League of Legends. As expected by Riot and the League of Legends community, the skin line quickly attracted attention, and of course, gamers were not hesitant to “open their wallets.” Simply because the skin line carries significant meaning, and in terms of design, it is also the most beautiful among all skin lines of SKT T1/T1 to date. However, there is still one skin that has become the “outcast.”

Accordingly, Faker’s Sylas skin this year gives off a feeling of being “left out of the game.” Right from the moment the T1 skin lines first appeared on the PBE, there were many discussions, but most of them revolved around skins like Yone, Varus, Vi, Pyke, and Gnar. Meanwhile, Sylas, although a Prestige skin, does not come with many effects simply because this champion does not have many effects to design.

Not to mention, gamers who want to own the T1 Prestige Sylas will have to purchase it using Prestige Points. This is not an easy mechanism to earn and may force gamers to spend a lot if they want to own the entire set. Therefore, many gamers only need the complete set of 5 base skins for T1 2024.

But perhaps all T1 skins will be “sold out”
Despite being hard to obtain or lacking the flashy effects as expected, perhaps all T1 skins for 2024 will still be very attractive. Not only because they are beautiful, but because this is the second skin line in League of Legends history that acknowledges Faker not only defending the championship but also earning an FMVP. It is these important significances that create the appeal for the T1 skin line, not just because of effects or design images.
