Kiaya shares about himself and GAM after Levi’s departure
One of the most poignant farewells in the League of Legends community at the end of the 2025 season must be the official retirement of Levi, who concluded over a decade-long professional career. From this point, the captaincy of GAM was transferred to Kiaya, and naturally, the top superstar bears the invisible pressures of inheriting the position from his close senior.

In the second week of the LCP Split 1 2026, GAM had 1 win and 1 loss, and importantly, the defeat came against a familiar opponent from the VCS, the MVK team led by SofM. After the match, Kiaya shared his thoughts on GAM in the “post-Levi” era, as well as the surprising loss against MVK, which has seen many roster changes.
According to Kiaya, “The team is currently improving its gameplay day by day. In the team, there is Draktharr who has just taken over the jungle position from Khánh, but he hasn’t played internationally for a long time, so he is still somewhat out of sync. However, the team and I are helping Draktharr every day. Previously, GAM had the duo ‘Khánh – Sang,’ and now I want to have ‘Sang – Toàn’ as strong as that.’

Kiaya remains very confident about GAM’s journey
Despite the loss to MVK, in the last match of the second week, GAM managed to secure another victory and temporarily climbed to the top of the standings after the first two weeks of play. Kiaya himself stated that he is very confident in leading GAM to the LCP championship this year, after missing out on the entire 2025 season.

Of course, Kiaya and GAM will not find it easy to achieve their goal, as teams like MVK and TSW can definitely make GAM pay a heavy price for any misstep. Kiaya’s role is extremely heavy, as he not only has to shine himself but also guide the entire team to shine in order to bring victory for the “big brother of VCS.”
