Keria shares about the meta and emphasizes Faker’s importance
In the new season, as we know, Riot has significantly strengthened two crucial positions: Top Lane and AD Carry, with one role being able to reach level 20 while the other has an additional item slot. However, from recent matches, it can be seen that AD Carry is the most targeted role, while the impact of Top Lane still depends on each match and team. Only the Mid Lane – Jungle positions remain the main axis for each team. And Keria confirmed this through his comments about Faker.

Accordingly, Keria shared: “I think Mid Lane is the most important, and based on that, you will decide how to play the match. I always believe that no matter how the meta changes, Mid Lane remains the most critical position. And luckily, our Mid Laner is Faker.”
In reality, during the first week of the LCK Cup 2026, T1 is the only team that has never used coach-voice. The reason for this, according to both experts and viewers, is largely thanks to Faker. Faker’s leadership of T1 is already sufficient for the reigning World Champion to operate smoothly in every match.

Faker remains the most exceptional factor in the League of Legends community
Faker’s mindset and ability to read the game, until now, have not been matched by any player. In fact, from surprising victories in the past, notably the match against JDG at the 2023 Worlds, it showcased a very disruptive mindset of the “Demon King.” Additionally, Faker demonstrates determination; when he sees a certain path that could benefit the team, he will undoubtedly execute it.

These are factors that current Mid Laners in LCK or the broader professional League of Legends scene almost do not possess. And they are also the foundation that ensures T1’s success from the past to the present.
