HLE Coach Admits the Truth About the “Superstar” Roster
It was thought that an NS team showing a disappointing performance compared to their acquisitions in the recent transfer window would be the “remedy” for HLE after their painful loss to T1. However, the outcome was completely contrary as HLE not only lost but also suffered a 0-2 defeat against an opponent deemed significantly weaker. In the post-match interview, HLE’s coach had to admit: HLE is severely lacking in cohesion.

Accordingly, Coach Homme admitted: “Whether in team fights or large objective control, the team’s coordination leaves much to be desired. On this front, since there is still time, I believe we can completely resolve it. There are many differences compared to what I thought before joining HLE. Perhaps we need to communicate more actively about this issue. Anyone can see that the current 5 members do not represent a unified team. Improving this is the most important thing.”

HLE Shows No Signs of Competing with T1
Perhaps at the beginning of the new season, no one expected a powerful HLE with quality additions for their weak spots to face two consecutive defeats. If the opponents were completely better than them, there would be nothing to discuss. But both NS and T1 have dealt HLE defeats at times when they were not superior. Simply put: these two teams play as a more cohesive unit than HLE, with better-coordinated players.

In fact, NS has also undergone many roster changes, so the issues of HLE cannot be blamed solely on the transfer window. Simply put, HLE is currently too weak, and thus, their losses are understandable.
