The Community Excited About the Prospect of DRX Hosting LCK Roadshow in Vietnam
Recently, DRX officially announced that it will host its LCK Roadshow 2026 in Vietnam. This will be the first time in history that an LCK match is held outside of South Korea, with Vietnam selected as the host country—a nation that finds it hard to compete with the LPL or European-American regions in terms of the scale of Esports venues. Of course, VCS fans are thrilled at the prospect of the upcoming new season.

Other Top LCK Teams May Also “Take Action”
As of now, T1 has become the third top team to visit Vietnam and hold a fan meeting in the S-shaped country. Thus, all three “big names” of the LCK are actively exploring this market. With DRX planning to conduct the LCK Roadshow here next year, the likelihood of other LCK teams also starting to explore and “follow in DRX’s footsteps” is very high, especially since everyone knows that the LCK is one of the most-watched tournaments in Vietnam.

However, the challenge for LCK teams, as mentioned, lies in the varying appeal of each team. Top teams like T1, Gen.G, and HLE have built a large fan base due to their achievements and star players like Faker, Chovy, and Gumayusi. In fact, DRX only began to intensify its efforts in the Vietnamese market after promoting LazyFeel to the Challengers team and then to the main team in the 2025 season.

Teams like DK, NS, or KT… still have fans in Vietnam, but not as many. OKBRO used to be quite familiar to VCS audiences but has parted ways with Morgan— a player very much loved in Vietnam. These will be challenges for the lesser-known teams in the LCK to consider when exploring the Vietnamese LoL market in the future.
