This is the T1 player who made fans feel “heartbroken” after the fanmeeting.
During the recent T1 fanmeeting event held in Vietnam, like many other large-scale events, the program left behind quite a bit of debate and mixed opinions after it concluded. Notably, as the largest fanmeeting in the history of Vietnamese Esports, the level of discussion became even more heated. However, for many, the opportunity to directly experience an event like this fanmeeting is still incredibly rare. Nevertheless, among the 5 T1 players who participated in the fanmeeting, many viewers felt “heartbroken” for the rookie Peyz.

First, Peyz encountered issues when the scoreboard misidentified him as Keria. Among the 5 T1 members, only Peyz did not appear at any time on the event’s electronic display. This incident led to criticism of MC Mai Dora, as there were opinions suggesting she mismanaged the script which negatively impacted Peyz. The electronic display incorrectly showed images while introducing T1 members, causing him to appear on stage.
Next, during the Q&A session between guests and T1 fans, the program had to end the interaction right before Peyz’s interview to keep on schedule. This further fueled the feeling of “heartbreak” among many fans for the young star of T1. He was also the quietest person throughout the fanmeeting.

The event is still causing divisions within the T1 community
Not only is the issue of Peyz a concern, but the fanmeeting is also sparking much debate within the T1 community. Of course, each side has its own arguments, and no one is willing to back down in these discussions. On social media platforms, there are even quite a few comments that are somewhat negative regarding issues related to Peyz.

Nonetheless, overall, the recent T1 fanmeeting was also the first time Esports Vietnam and the League of Legends community had the opportunity to organize such a large event. Mistakes are inevitable, and fans also hope that this will serve as a foundation for future events to improve.
