Host Mai Dora issues apology after T1 fanmeeting event
As you may know, on December 21st, the Main Event of the T1 fanmeeting took place in Vietnam. This was a highly anticipated event for the Vietnamese League of Legends community, as it marked Faker’s return to the S-shaped country after more than 6 years, since MSI 2019. Moreover, at this moment, Faker and T1’s status is vastly different from 6 years ago, as they are now the three-time consecutive World Champions. However, an incident involving host Mai Dora contributed to some fans not having a complete experience.

Notably, immediately after the event concluded, the female host took to her official Threads channel to apologize for the incomplete experiences of the audience. Specifically, one of the factors that led to her being criticized was not allocating interview time for Peyz. Regarding this issue, the host affirmed that she had prepared sufficient questions. However, the showmatch taking longer than expected shortened the time for Q&A with the players.

Mai Dora’s incident is just one of several issues
It can be said that the League of Legends community, along with the players and KOLs attending the event, had a fun day when considering the aspect of meeting and interacting with the superstars and legends of the League of Legends world. However, when examining both objective and subjective factors, it can be said that the audience’s experience was not entirely complete.

Nevertheless, the T1 players affirmed that they had unforgettable memories with the Vietnamese League of Legends audience. And perhaps, in this rare occasion where the VCS welcomed legendary superstars, such an event, in some respects, can be seen as having fulfilled its mission.
