According to News1.kr, this morning, the headquarters of SK Telecom located at Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul has reported a case of testing positive for the dangerous virus. This employee was confirmed to be positive for the virus after a medical examination and has been isolated for treatment.

Immediately after receiving the test results, the entire building where this employee worked announced a closure and lockdown for 3 days (from the 26th to the 28th) for disinfection.
It is known that T1’s new Gaming House in Seoul is not yet completed, so currently, the whole team is still living and practicing at the old Gaming House from the SKT era, located in Ilsan, GyeongGi Province, about 40km from downtown Seoul.
According to South Korean media, the employee confirmed to have tested positive for the virus worked on the 14th floor of the building, while the T1 staff team has an office on the 28th floor. However, given the high transmission potential, the risk of infection for T1 employees is certainly possible.

Additionally, staff at the Seoul headquarters frequently visit T1’s current Gaming House for work reasons. Especially during major events such as debut anniversaries or player birthdays, gifts from fans are sent from Seoul to GyeongGi.
This has raised concerns about the potential transmission path of the virus to T1 players. Currently, LCK fans are still very anxious about the latest developments of the outbreak, while T1 has yet to provide any updates on the health status and preventive measures following this incident.
