League of Legends: Zeros the Demon King is Definitely Making a Comeback, Debuting GAM Jersey This Weekend?

The VCS tournament should probably be worried, as Demon King Zeros is ready to return.

After a series of rumors regarding Zeros no longer aiming to compete in China and preparing to return to VCS, those involved have gradually spoken out, confirming this information.

As reported in a previous article, Zeros himself was the one who initiated the “rumor” surrounding his impending return to VCS. Recently, the 2k Demon King continued to post similar content, mentioning “Comeback this week.”

Coincidentally, the “weekend” that Zeros referred to also marks the end of the first round of the VCS Spring 2020 group stage, with the match day on January 3 being the start of the second round. This is also the time when teams are allowed to add new players, and Zeros “joining” GAM Esports for the third time is just a matter of time.

Coach Tinikun has indirectly confirmed this information by posting a photo of Zeros at the team’s Gaming House, hinting that he is preparing to “go compete in a tournament.” With the LPL currently postponed indefinitely, there are no other tournaments here except VCS for Zeros to showcase his skills. And of course, there is no other team besides GAM that can acquire this player.

Additionally, Arik – the manager of GAM Esports – recently confirmed that Zeros will return to the GAM roster in the second round of the VCS Spring 2020 group stage, starting this weekend. With these developments, it is nearly 99% certain that Zeros’ return to GAM Esports will become a reality, with the rest just waiting for an official announcement.

This weekend, GAM Esports will face off against Dashing Buffalo – also Zeros’ former team. If he truly returns to VCS and is unveiled in the match against DBL, it will certainly be a fateful confrontation in the love triangle of GAM Esports – Zeros – Dashing Buffalo.

However, this will not happen, as the match between GAM – DBL still belongs to the first round. Thus, Zeros will only be able to play in the match against CERBERUS Esports taking place at 8 PM on Sunday, March 1, which is also GAM’s first match in the second round. After a relatively long break from competition, will the Demon King be able to showcase the destructive performance seen before when he returns to VCS?
