Uzi Falls into “Despair”, Criticized by Fans
For long-time League of Legends fans, Uzi is a very familiar name as he is a legendary player from the LPL region with immense popularity. Even when he briefly returned to play for EDG, Uzi helped the team perform better and garnered a lot of attention. With such a great reputation, many viewers thought Uzi’s life after retirement would be extremely comfortable.

However, everything changed drastically in the last few months as Uzi’s livestream career has been “plummeting” rapidly. According to reports from Sohu, the number of viewers for Uzi’s streams has decreased by up to 80% and has not met the targets set by the livestream platform. He even admitted that in December, he did not receive a salary due to the extremely low viewership.

The peak of the situation occurred on December 31 when Uzi voiced his “complaints” about this issue during a livestream. He even expressed jealousy towards Doinb, who is able to return to competitive play while he cannot. This made Uzi’s own fans quite angry as they believe he has made several mistakes recently, and the channel’s decline is a consequence that this legend must face.

A Challenging New Year Awaits Uzi
Indeed, for the audience, Uzi is an icon associated with League of Legends and his brilliant plays with marksman champions. This is also Uzi’s strongest point to attract viewers, but his choice to play other games (notably PUBG) goes against this. As a result, viewers who followed Uzi for his League of Legends gameplay have gradually left when they saw him streaming PUBG, leading to the current “tragic” situation.

It should be noted that unlike Doinb, Uzi does not have the gift of gab or an outgoing personality willing to dance and “create content” on stream. Therefore, his shift in content to other games (outside of League of Legends) is unreasonable as it does not retain viewers. Perhaps if he does not change and return to a maximum focus on League of Legends, Uzi’s livestream career will become even worse in 2025.
