At the 2019 All-Star event held in Las Vegas, Faker had the opportunity to “split off from the team” to accept an invitation to visit the headquarters of Nike – the world’s leading sportswear brand, which, as we know, would soon become T1’s uniform sponsor.
It was only recently that the most authentic images of Faker’s visit were widely shared in the media, through which we once again see the greatness of this guy in popular culture, as highlighted by statements from Nike’s leadership.
From Nike’s perspective, this prestigious sportswear brand truly values Faker’s influence on youth around the globe. Leo Sandino-Taylor – Nike’s Global Brand Marketing Executive, compared Faker to international sports legends like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Cristiano Ronaldo… regarding his name and his great career in his sport.

And of course, all three legendary athletes, along with Faker, share a common point of being the faces of Nike products.
As for Faker, in addition to touring the Nike headquarters, he was also honored to be a guest at the private residence of basketball legend Michael Jordan. For the Demon King, these visits truly hold great significance for him.

Sports experts have likened Faker to a “Michael Jordan of esports”, and for the Korean player, he has never hidden his pride in that comparison. In an interview during his visit last year, Faker expressed his desire to own a sneaker brand in collaboration with Nike, similar to the Air Jordan brand (a sneaker line that is a collaboration between Nike and Michael Jordan).
With his stature and influence in North America, China, and South Korea, it is entirely feasible for Faker to own his own sneaker brand, as these are also key consumer markets for Nike, and perhaps the company’s business executives will not overlook this “juicy bait”. What about you? Imagine if one day “Chairman” Faker launches his own sneaker brand, would you be willing to empty your wallet to help the Chairman… get rich?
