Faker’s “Incredible” Performance in Ranked
In recent years, Faker’s performance has not consistently reached high levels throughout the season. However, when T1 needs him, Faker is ready to step up. Especially in Faker’s hands, playmaking champions like Azir or Orianna become particularly dangerous. In a recent ranked match, he left the community in awe once again.

Specifically, Faker used Azir and, in a situation where he was ganked in the top lane by Zed and Zac—two champions with very annoying gap-closing abilities. However, Faker not only dodged Zed’s Q ability once but managed to evade it three times despite the very tight space. After that, Faker also dodged Zac’s Elastic Slingshot and single-handedly took down both enemy champions.
Viewers Also Shook Their Heads at Faker’s “Incredible” Performance
Witnessing Faker’s performance with his signature champion, many viewers couldn’t help but exclaim. One comment lamented: “At 29, still playing like this, when will the G.O.A.T. finally take a break?” Meanwhile, another opinion expressed sympathy for the Zed player: “Zed must be haunted tonight. Dodging all three Qs in such a tight space must be traumatizing.”
Notably, Faker’s rank is not too low (Diamond 1), and of course, his opponents must also be at a decent level (Zed is even at the Master tier). Yet, they were outplayed by Faker three or four times in a row in just one skirmish.

Of course, ranked play is different from professional matches. But it’s clear that Faker is in very good spirits. And if Faker gets to use playmaking champions he is comfortable with, T1 fans have no reason to worry about their team’s victory, even against top-tier opponents.
