Recently, Stream Hatcher – a data analytics platform for streaming services and streamers in the gaming industry – published an overview of the highlights in the global streaming scene in 2019. The most noteworthy focus was the presence of three Vietnamese streamers, who are currently dominating the Facebook Gaming platform worldwide.

It’s easy to see that the top 3 positions on the Facebook Gaming platform are all major names in the Vietnamese streaming scene. The reason why Vietnamese streamers can hold records on Facebook Gaming partly stems from the fact that we are one of the leading countries in Facebook user rates, and watching live streams through this social media clearly offers a much more convenient way to access gaming creators.
The three most-watched games on Facebook Gaming include PUBG Mobile (267.9 million views), Garena Free Fire (112.4 million views), and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (85.2 million views), which proves the platform’s appeal in Vietnam, as all three names are immensely popular in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.

Speaking of the top streamers with the highest view counts on Facebook Gaming, these are three very familiar names in the Vietnamese gaming community, even for those outside the scene. Leading the pack is Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng from AoE with 20.6 million views, while Trâu TV is also at the forefront in the League of Legends/TFT streaming category with 6.4 million views.
In the case of Trâu TV – the streaming channel of Trâu Best Udyr, unlike Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng, which has long been a top brand in the Vietnamese gaming scene, Trâu Best Udyr, as a League of Legends streamer – a game that hasn’t received much attention on Facebook Gaming, has nonetheless quickly risen to the top with the highest number of stream followers in the world, specifically in the League of Legends category.

Besides the loyal fanbase that has followed him since the TalkTV days, the rise of Teamfight Tactics has also contributed to making Trâu Best Udyr hotter than ever. After PUBG’s decline, Trâu once again shined on the “board of fate,” with his deep understanding of the game and frequent sharing of useful tips and interesting team compositions, Trâu TV has become one of the must-watch streaming channels in the Teamfight Tactics community.
On average, each of Trâu TV’s streams attracts over 100,000 viewers, and peak numbers can reach over 10,000 viewers at the same time. This is a highly coveted figure for many other League of Legends/TFT streamers active on the Facebook Gaming platform.

Clearly, Trâu’s success is not only due to his seizing the opportunity to become one of the first major names in the streaming scene to join Facebook Gaming, but largely because the brand Trâu Best Udyr has long been established as a capable streamer, possessing high personal skill and an engaging streaming style. The achievements gained in 2019 will undoubtedly drive Trâu TV to continue to grow even stronger in the future.
