Wukong continues to receive beneficial adjustments that enhance mobility, damage, and especially adds many shields.
This is the third ability change for Wukong. It can be said that creating this comeback for Wukong has consumed a lot of effort from Riot’s development team. The full damage playstyle is no longer effective; instead, it is now a tanky front-line playstyle.
Passive: Iron Body

– Removed: ability to gain magic resistance when near enemy champions.
– Added: restores 1% of maximum health every 5 seconds. The shield and healing ability will quadruple when there are 3 or more allied champions around Wukong.
Q Ability: Staff Strike

– Cooldown: 10 – 6 seconds corresponding to each level.
– Energy cost: 30 – 50 corresponding to each level.
– Added: When Wukong or his clone deals damage, the cooldown of this ability is reduced by 0.5 seconds. The next attack from the clone is empowered.
W Ability: Decoy

– Cooldown: 22 – 14 seconds corresponding to each level.
– Energy cost: 50 energy at all levels.
– Removed: No longer deals area magic damage when the clone disappears.
– Added: When casting, Wukong dashes forward a short distance, being able to pass through thin walls. Wukong’s clone can now attack normally and use abilities but only deals 30 – 70% damage corresponding to each level. The clone will disappear immediately upon taking damage from structures.
E Ability: Cloud Steps

– Cooldown: 10 – 8 seconds corresponding to each level.
– Energy cost: 40 – 60 corresponding to each level.
– Added: When casting, Wukong dashes towards the enemy until he reaches them, allowing for both movement and teleportation. Increases the attack speed of the clone.
Ultimate: Cyclone

– Movement speed: increases by 20/30/40% corresponding to each level.
– Spin duration: 2 seconds.
– Can stack points of the Conqueror rune.
– Added: Wukong can reactivate within 7 seconds. The second activation deals damage but does not knock up the enemy. Using this skill will immediately halt all other actions.
This change can be said to transform Wukong into a sturdy frontline champion. It also helps him become a bit more elusive and mobile. The new Wukong will appear in the upcoming update of League of Legends.
