In just 1 minute and 20 seconds of the trailer “Nightmare in Demacia”, we can easily recognize the horrific terror that Fiddlesticks brings. However, if that were all, it wouldn’t be Riot Games; we have an entire scene of two soldiers talking to each other, behind which lie ominous signs of what Demacia is about to endure.
Regarding Fiddlesticks himself, Riot Games has confirmed that he is a puppet controlled by a demonic soul trapped in a cage in his chest. Therefore, Fiddlesticks does not actually have a human-like voice; he merely tries to mimic what humans say. So after the soldier Teddic says “Help me!” and the second soldier is running towards him, we can hear the phrase “Tedirc is gone!” which is indeed the true voice of Fiddlesticks.
Before the segment where Tedric is killed, we can hear the two soldiers complaining to each other that they should be drinking beer at the tavern instead of patrolling like this if it weren’t for the Fossbarrow incident. So, what horrific event happened there that forced Demacia to bolster its patrol forces?

According to LoLpedia, Fossbarrow is a small village in northern Demacia, named after the hero Fossian Crownguard, who sacrificed himself to seal Nocturne. The “Fossbarrow incident” that the two soldiers mention is the event where Nocturne was awakened by a child with magical blood (referred to as a witch in the video).

This specter ravaged this small village until Garen and Lux drove him away, but they could not completely eradicate Nocturne. It is very likely that the loss of control over Nocturne, a demon in the eyes of the Demacians, caused the patrols to be reinforced and, unfortunately for these two soldiers, they became victims of another demon. That’s the storyline of the trailer; so what will Fiddlesticks’ skill set be?
One thing we can be certain of is that the ultimate ability “Crowstorm” (currently known as that; we don’t know what it will be called after the rework) will remain unchanged. Next, we should pay attention to the scene where the second soldier approaches the spot where Tedric was killed, where there is a scarecrow that looks exactly like Fiddlesticks. As he gets closer, it disappears and leaves him standing frozen in place.

This could very well be a new skill of Fiddlesticks, and to visualize it, it will operate very similarly to Shaco’s “Jack in the Box”, creating a trap that enemies approaching will be feared. That’s just one skill; it’s highly likely that Fiddlesticks’ other two signature skills, Q – “Fear” and E – “Silence”, will also retain their effects.
Could it be that the sudden scene where soldier Tedric gets pulled away and killed is a teaser for the ability to drag a victim towards Fiddlesticks and then silence them? As shown in the video, that soldier only managed to say “Help me!” twice before falling completely silent.

From the above points, we can see that Demacia is currently in extreme panic after the event of the Eternal Nightmare – Nocturne escaping from his seal and still existing. Next is the emergence of Fiddlesticks, another demon in the heart of this nation. It can be said that with a kingdom that places great emphasis on order and discipline like Demacia, the existence of such demons within is a very bad omen.

Could this mark an event where the kingdom of Demacia is devoured by demons in the future?
