The reworked Fiddlesticks is ready for the Summoner’s Rift launch, with a series of horror-themed promotional products introduced to the gaming community. Despite being highly praised for its fresh and unique design, not every gamer can “stomach” the level of fright this champion brings.
Tyler1 is one of those with a “weak soul”. In a recent stream, after being spooked by the teaser trailer of Fiddlesticks, he perhaps got so embarrassed that he turned around and… sulked at Riot Games, demanding that the creators of League of Legends not turn the game into a horror title.
“Listen here, Riot, I’m not a horror game creator, if you keep adding creepy stuff like this to League of Legends, I’m quitting!” – Tyler1 declared on stream, feeling that Riot should not turn League of Legends into a horror game, even calling on viewers to boycott the new Fiddlesticks.
“I’m serious, I’m 25 years old now, my heart is too weak and can’t handle this disgusting stuff anymore.”

“Please release more champions like Zoe, I want to see more Zoes, you know, those champions with a bit of a fun appearance.” – He continued to lament that Riot Games has recently been leaning towards making League of Legends a darker game.
Tyler1’s opinion might resonate with some, as alongside the upcoming Fiddlesticks rework, champions like Volibear and rumored champions like the Void King also possess quite dark backstories that might not be suitable for… children.

However, this also shows that Riot is heading in the right direction in diversifying champion styles in League of Legends. And of course, no matter how famous Tyler1 is, there’s no way Riot will cancel a champion project that the community strongly supports, like Fiddlesticks, just because a muscular guy was scared by a teaser trailer clip.
