If you are a hardcore fan of Dopa, you may have noticed that this popular League of Legends streamer has frequently interrupted his streaming schedule for personal reasons lately. Notably, he hasn’t livestreamed for nearly a week, raising concerns among fans, as they are unsure if Dopa is facing any serious issues that have led him to continuously cancel his work schedule.
In response to the fans’ concern, Dopa recently posted an update explaining the situation on his personal Weibo page. According to him, his recent break from streaming is due to health issues. Although he did not explicitly mention the problem, everyone understands that the mental health issue he referred to in his post is related to the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) he suffers from:

“I have stopped livestreaming since March 11, and the reason is that my mouse has a problem. It is scratched.
I have been using this mouse for 8 years, and my right hand is so accustomed to its every contour that I never thought about throwing it away, even though I tried using another mouse of the same type. Now that it is like this, I tried to ignore it, but I can’t. The scratch has changed the feel of the mouse in my hand, and I am extremely desperate, wanting to die to end it. I can’t find a more accurate way to describe that feeling.
I planned to just leave it like that and try hard to see if I could get used to it. If I can’t overcome this feeling, I think I will really have to get a new mouse, but I am very sensitive about this. I don’t know how long the process of getting used to it will take, and even if I do get used to it, I might not be able to play as well as before. I am very worried.
So I will definitely find a way to fix it before solving the problem in another way.
I sincerely apologize to my audience and those who have been waiting to watch my stream. But I assure you that I will resolve this issue and return to streaming soon.”

Dopa’s battle with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) has been confirmed by him for a long time. This is also the psychological condition that forced Pawn to retire. Dopa has shared about this issue multiple times, revealing that his OCD is one of the reasons he doesn’t intend to pursue a professional gaming career (besides the fact that he can earn more money from streaming and previously from boosting).
This legendary streamer has also shared that he only likes to eat dishes cooked by his sister, as they suit his taste, and this time, the issue with the mouse he has used for 8 years has exacerbated his OCD.

Speaking about the manifestations of OCD and its impact on professional players like Pawn, Zeros, or streamers like Dopa, this syndrome can be considered a form of stress, as those affected often feel anxious about very minor things in life and tend to perform compulsive actions to impose order on things to reduce stress. In Dopa’s case, just a small scratch on his familiar mouse makes him feel frustrated and anxious because everything feels wrong compared to his expectations.
Dopa’s sharing has cleared up any questions fans had about his “on-and-off streaming” and instead, they have sent him encouraging words, hoping he can soon overcome this difficult period and return to live streaming.
