With the complex developments of the well-known pandemic, many businesses have allowed employees to work from home, online, to both ensure work continuity and prevent the spread. Riot Games is likely among them, as many employees have stated that they are working from home, which is currently the best solution in the context of League of Legends always needing to maintain continuous updates.

In an entirely different work environment, at home rather than in the office, the Riot Games employees have come up with many bizarre, even crazy ideas that can make people laugh. Most recently, Riot August, a senior member of the champion design team, shared his online work results on social media, where he transformed Volibear into Annie’s pet and half-jokingly stated – “This is the rework that Volibear needs.”

According to announcements from Riot Games, Volibear is the next champion to be reworked after Fiddlesticks. With patch 10.6 having launched, it is likely that the new Fiddlesticks will update in patch 10.7, and Volibear will have to wait for 1 or 2 more patches to be “transformed”. All we know about the new Volibear is this champion’s rough appearance along with Riot’s promise that the new skill set will have many similarities to the current one.

Perhaps for a champion with few fans like Volibear, maintaining familiarity during the rework is extremely important. As for the video that Riot August released, we can rest assured that it is merely a joke or a product created during his free time.
